About me

Hello! I'm Peixuan. I'm a software engineer living in New York City, currently employed by a social networking company.

I'm a fan of open source technology, music and video games. I love doing things that that I have never done before.

Education

I studied EE in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. In my junior year, I found myself more interested in Computer Science, so I started self-learning different programming languages. I enjoy self-learning more than taking classes, and almost everything I know about Computer Science was self-learned.

After graduating from BUPT, I got a job from Sohu.com as an Software Engineer. However, after half a year I decided to came to the US to pursue a master's degree in Computer Science.

During the summer of 2016, I was a Student Developer in Google Summer of Code, helping GitHub building its GitHub Classroom.

I got my master's degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Jan 2017.

I joined FreeWheel to build various Ad products in March 2017.

I left FreeWheel and joined Meta in March 2022.
